The next big news for Fortnite, Chapter 5 Season 3, is set to start next week, and today Epic revealed a big surprise: a collaboration with Fallout is on the way. In the image released for the upcoming season, we can see the iconic Power Armor helmet from the Fallout franchise, along with a pair of emojis in the tweet that serve as a representative of Vault Boy with blond hair, so intertwined with the Fallout universe.
What to expect from this collaboration?
The collaboration with Fallout comes just a few weeks after the success of the new series from Amazon Prime Video, and it is just the latest in a series of events from the Epic gaming platform that stays aligned with pop culture moments happening elsewhere.
It is still not clear exactly what the collaboration will include, but an in-game skin seems to be the minimum. Perhaps the new map and/or weapons will also be inspired by the post-apocalyptic franchise from Bethesda.

The image also features what appears to be a giant dust storm and some type of industrial tanks, which adds weight to the rumor that Chapter 5 Season 3 will have some dieselpunk style Mad Max inspirations, including a focus on vehicle combat – and probably a collaboration with Furiosa as well.
