Fallout: London – Exploring the Post-Apocalyptic World
Fallout: London has been making waves in the world of post-apocalyptic gaming, with thousands of users exploring the mod that took years to develop. It was released a few weeks ago and, after a period of instability, the ‘Team FOLON’ delivered a major patch to fix some of the most annoying issues.
Addressing Player Concerns
The update tackles the main problems faced by players and also made adjustments to maintain the British vibe of the mod.
Increasing Accuracy
Fallout: London is a decent mod, but I couldn’t quite fall in love with it and didn’t feel a connection while playing, so I gave up after an hour or two. It’s not bad, just not my style. The map of London is huge and has been relatively accurately reproduced, but that wasn’t enough to keep me engaged for hours on end to complete all the missions.
In the latest update of the oversized mod, Team FOLON introduced dozens of important changes and quality of life improvements. The group also fixed some British inconsistencies, especially related to terminology.
For example:
– Ladybug was renamed to Ladybird
– ‘Cash Register’ was renamed to ‘Till’
– ‘Wrenches’ were renamed to ‘Spanner’
Furthermore, the complete patch showcases the broad scope of changes made in update 1.01. There were numerous mission alterations and some minor bugs were also fixed, such as the bizarre issue that caused Churchill, the robust bulldog, to transform into Dogmeat from Fallout 4 when dismissed and recruited again by the player.
