All the New Entities in Doors Floor 2 and How to Avoid Them

Exploring Doors Floor 2: New Entities and Guide to Play on PC

With the launch of Doors Floor 2, players can now explore a new area known as the Mines while encountering various new dangerous entities. If you’re eager to discover all the newly added entities in Doors Floor 2, read through the list below!

What Are the New Entities in Doors Floor 2?

Here is a list of all five new entities introduced in Doors Floor 2, along with the best strategies to confront them in the game. If you’re interested in learning about all existing entities in gameplay, I highly recommend checking out our Doors Walkthrough guide.

1. Giggle

Giggle is a star-shaped monster, colored in salmon/gray, sporting a big smile. It typically hangs from the ceiling. Compared to other entities, it’s somewhat passive, only causing 40 damage when a player passes underneath it before it releases. If you spot a Giggle early on, you can throw a Glowstick to make it fall.

2. Gloombats

Similar to Giggle, Gloombats frequently appear in the Mines level. Identifiable by their moth-like appearance and bright yellow eyes, these creatures will first attack your sources of light before pursuing you, dealing 10 damage per attack. To evade them, turn off your light source and leave the area quickly. Alternatively, you can use a Gloomstick or Laser Pointer as they will not provoke Gloombats.

3. Gloombat Eggs/Moth Eggs

As indicated by their name, these are simply unhatched Gloombats found in the game. You can discover several of these eggs in very dark rooms. They pose no immediate threat unless you step on them, causing some to hatch and attack like adult Gloombats. Therefore, it’s best to avoid these eggs.

4. Grumble

Grumble is a giant, highly lethal version of the Giggle entity, capable of taking you out in just two or three hits. You will first encounter this creature at Door 150 while searching for an exit in its nest. To confront it, distract Grumble using Bulklight or throw a Glowstick in hallways or intersections. Hiding in narrow alleys can also be effective, as Grumble cannot enter these spaces due to its large size. Crucifixes can be useful too, as they can temporarily lock the creature while you reposition yourself.

5. Hide (Reworked)

The Hide entity has undergone some changes in the current Mines level, now forcing you to play a heart minigame if you stay hidden in a closet for too long. Failing this minigame twice will eject you from the closet, dealing 40 damage, and you won’t be able to re-enter for some time.

6. Seek (Altered Version)

Returning from the first part, Seek appears as the final monster in Door 200 in the Mines. This time, it takes the form of a large, sticky black monster with multiple eyes instead of its usual human shape. Despite its fearsome appearance, it is not a substantial threat, with only two types of attacks: random hand attacks and laser hand attacks. To dodge the laser attacks, simply move away from the laser pointer and avoid the edges of the central sewer area to evade the random attacks. Use these tactics to evade its attacks while activating all valves (the final puzzle) to drain the area and finish the game.
